So we are getting ready for all the Christmas festivities to come here in the home. Presents are wrapped and under the tree, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are booked, and this is the whitest Christmas I have seen in a long time!
All I can think about is next year there will be a little boy to buy for! We found out last week that the baby in my belly has a penis. So in essence, I am growing a penis. Very strange… But we are excited! Matt was convinced it was a girl. Everyone has been telling me it’s a girl because of how sick I was in the beginning (Now thank goodness that has all stopped!) But deep down inside I always knew it was a boy! I always thought I would have boys. Which is good, because I seem to relate to boys better. Even though my niece and I are really close (She loves her aunt Mimi).
My Father couldn’t be happier, and the joyous laugh that burst out of him when I told him was priceless. I already know that he will be the only 3 month old with 12 leather jackets and a motorcycle helmet. My dad really deserved a grandson after all the crap me and my sister have put him through (LOL!).
The baby has been keeping me up all night by dancing for the past week. He has decided that he likes to sleep during the day and wake up at 1am. It starts with some hiccups. And then he kicks my bladder all night long. It’s very strange. But awesome to feel him! I love it. It cracks me up.
I am 20 weeks this week, halfway there! And showing, even though I feel small for 20 weeks. That will change soon, though, because my book says I will grow a 1/2 an inch every week now until delivery. Ugh, delivery, I am not looking forward to that! The kid has a huge head already. 22cm. When they are born, they usually have 33cm heads. He is already ahead of the curve. LOL.
So yeah, that is my life right now. Baby baby baby. I am sure it is a bore. But not when you are actually experiencing it! This is something I thought would never happen to me, because it took so long for it to happen. Now that it is happening, it feels like it is going by so fast! But I can’t wait to meet the little guy.
