Just yesterday I posted this on Facebook about L: ”Now L is saying Animal names and imitating animal sounds. All of a sudden. Like, just today. It’s so funny how he does things like that!”
Where has he been getting his new animal sounds education? From his brand new Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo Playset from Fisher Price!
From the minute we received this playset, I couldn’t wait to get it open:

Not only did I know that it was going to be made well (I hate flimsy plastic toys!!), I knew that the fact that it says the Animal’s name and plays the animal’s sound was going to be beneficial for L. L loves learning activities, and being able to physically hold the animal after hearing it’s name and hearing it’s sound helps him learn in a fast fun way. Our set came with a Lion, Polar Bear and Gorilla. By the end of his second play session, L was naming the Gorilla and making monkey noises!
Now, being the vlogging mom I can be, I tried and tried to get these adorable monkey noises on video to post for you all – but L would get shy and all noises would cease as soon as the camera blipped on … and being almost 8 month pregnant, I am not so good at sneaking into a room right now…
But if I do happen to get these noises preserved on film forever, you can bet I will be sending them in for Fisher Price’s Animal Sounds contest going on now until November 30th!

If you are considering the Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo as a gift this holiday season, I want to be the first one to tell you that you should go ahead and buy one up! We went to our local Walmart and picked up more animals to use with the zoo as well – there are sooo many to chose from, and they are reasonably priced as well – at $2.75 – $3.00 an animal, they would also make great stocking stuffers! (I know I will be picking up more for the holiday season!)
We just love this set, and were thrilled at the opportunity to review it and share it with you all! Now… time to go play and get those cute noises on video!!
